Narzulla Fakhriddin – a student of “Nursing” specialty (“Masseur” qualification for sight-disabled persons) took part in the Para powerlifting Kazakhstan championship.
Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. As in the sport of Olympic weightlifting, it involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single-lift effort of a barbell loaded with weight plates.
Our student performed in the weight category up to 56 kg and with a total result of 210 kg showed the best result among juniors, won gold medal of the championship. Additionally, the weight raised by Fahriddin allowed him to win a silver medal among men.
