February 20 , 2023 our College visited Sulushash Dosbolova – police Major, senior criminal investigator of Almaty Police Department for Combating Drug Crimes, who gave “Drug-related crime” lecture for College students.
Drug addiction among teenagers and young people has become an epidemic in recent years. According to statistics, drug addiction is diagnosed in 30% of cases of teenagers and young people applying to a specialized medical institution for drug addiction. In recent years, there has been a “rejuvenation” of drug addiction, some children begin to try drugs at the age of 12-13. That is why drug addiction is a serious medical and social problem of modern society.
