On February 09, 2023, UNICEF representatives visited our Сollege, among them: UNICEF Regional Adviser on Health issues of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia – Gabriel Fontan, UNICEF representatives – Baurzhan Zhusupov and Fakhriddin Nizamov, National master trainer on Universal progressive model of patronage (UPMP) and UNICEF expert – Natalia Kim, Regional coordinator – Gulyara Mankeeva.
On the agenda were issues of contribution and involvement of medical colleges in teaching UNICEF programs on UPMP, integrated management of childhood diseases. At the moment, one of the unresolved issues remains – improvement of educational resources in kazakh language, development of educational videos, further training of UPMP trainers among lecturers of medical colleges.
