On June 06, 2025, an open educational hour was held in our College on the theme “Greatness of Abai’s views“, dedicated to the 180-th anniversary of the great poet Abai Kunanbayuly.
The purpose of the event: popularization of Abai literature heritage; education of patriotism and popularization of national values through the formation of students‘ interest in reading works of Kazakh literature.
The students prepared following for the educational hour: “Words of edification“; a theatrical performance based on the novel by M. Auezov “The Way of Abai“; the song “Желсіз түнде жарық ай“, written on Abai‘s poems; national dance and kui.
The event was prepared by activists of the student council. Abai‘s literary heritage is the national pride of the Kazakh people. The traditions of Abai in their literary work were developed by Sh. Kudaiberdyev, S. Toraigyrov, M. Zhumabayev. The classics of Kazakh literature of the twentieth century were brought up on the legacy of Abai: M. Auezov, S. Seifullin, G. Musrepov, S. Mukanov and others.
