Gulmira Mukasheva – a lecturer of “Clinical Disciplines” CMC No. 3 of our College became the winner of 2024 International Volunteer award in “For contribution to solving social problems” nomination.
47 winners of 2024 year award were awarded at ceremony held in Astana. These are people and organizations whose projects have become an example of dedication and inspiration. The event also marked the final of a project by the National Volunteer Network and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “the Marathon of kindness”, which brought together more than 50,000 participants and presented more than 7,000 good actions.
Since 2017, Gulmira Mukasheva has been the coordinator of “Basket of kindness” volunteer group, whose members purchase food, personal hygiene products and other necessary goods for patients of the Palliative Care Center in Almaty. The movement‘s volunteers give patients not only “baskets of kindness“, but also positive emotions, which are so necessary for seriously ill people.
