On May 08, 2025, on the eve of the 80-th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, students and staff of College took part in a citywide community cleanup day. The event was held within the framework of the republican program “Таза Қазақстан“ and “Almaty is our common home” environmental campaign.
Purpose: to foster an ecological culture through the formation of careful attitude towards nature.
The campaign “Almaty is our common home“ will be held throughout the city and will cover such public places as parks, squares and courtyards. City residents, volunteers, representatives of law enforcement agencies, public figures and bloggers will come together to make Almaty cleaner and pay tribute to feat of the Great Patriotic War heroes.
College staff and students contributed to maintaining the cleanliness of their hometown. “We don‘t just clean up the trash – we set an example, especially for the younger generation. This is our city, and it must be clean,“ summed up Sholpan Kashtaeva, head of Educational and Social Work Department.
